Candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or valid passport or School Leaving (SSC) /Jr. College Leaving Certificate of HSC / 12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality. (Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Non Resident Indians (NRI)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible).

All candidates, who have passed final MBBS Examination and completed / completing one year internship training by 31st March..,2014 from a recognized medical college included in the Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and situated in Maharashtra are eligible. The Medical College should have been affiliated to Non-Agricultural Universities established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994 or the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Act, 1998 or Medical College affiliated to Deemed university as per University Grant commission Act of 1956 under section 13 / A, situated in Maharashtra. The candidate should have obtained registration either from the Medical Council of India or Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) will be eligible to appear for PGM-CET 2014.

Candidate’s who have pass MBBS examination from foreign University are not eligible for PGM CET 2014.


Eligibility for In-service candidates will be as per criteria laid down by the Public Health Department for M.M. & H.S. Medical Officer candidates and by commissioner of E.S.I.S. for E.S.I.S in-service candidate’s. For BMC In-Service Candidate eligibility criteria will be as per criteria laid down by Municipal Commissioner / Director of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

Application forms of the DHS In-service candidates shall be received by the Deputy Director of Health Services of the respective circles. The applications will be scrutinized by them and shall be submitted with remarks to the office of Directorate of Health Services, Mumbai. The forms of eligible candidates should then be submitted to the Competent Authority. For BMC candidates, the forms of eligible candidates should be submitted to the Competent Authority by the concerned office of BMC; and for ESIS candidates by the office of the Commissioner, ESIS, Mumbai.

For In-service Candidates the cost of the Information Brochure along with Computerized Scan able Application Form of PGM-CET 2014 and the examination fee is Rs2500/- to be paid by a Demand Draft (DD) / Pay Order drawn on any nationalized / scheduled commercial bank in favour of the “Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai. This amount is not refundable.

The MCI / MMC registration is mandatory for appearing at PGM-CET. Registration Certificate should be produced at the time of Document Verification process.

Candidates; who were admitted to the colleges / institutions which are now affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (MUHS) will be eligible till such time as they are awarded the degree by the University established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994.

Candidate’s who are domiciled in Maharashtra and who have obtained admission under 15 percent (%) quota for All India Pre Medical Test Entrance Examination (AIPMT) for MBBS course in the medical college / institution situated outside Maharashtra State and who have obtained the degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for PGM-CET-2014. Such candidates should submit

(i) Certificate from the Dean of respective medical college stating that the candidate was admitted under 15 percent (%) All India quotas for MBBS course.

(ii) Candidate’s Domicile certificate of Maharashtra State by virtue of residence.

Candidate belonging to Backward Class must have claimed so in his online / computerized scan able application form, failing which such a claim will not be entertained subsequently. The candidate belonging to Backward Class Category should produce the Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (wherever applicable) at the time of Document Verification process.

Candidates who have passed Final MBBS exam from institute located outside Maharashtra, except candidates who are Domicile of Maharashtra & selected under 15 percent (%) All India quotas

Candidate’s who have passed final MBBS examination from foreign university are not eligible.

Candidate’s who are not completing internship on or before 31st March….2014.

Candidates who have not obtained MMC/MCI registration.

Candidates who had been admitted to PG course through NEET PGM- 2013 and resigned / left / not joined which resulted in lapse of a seat.

Candidate who are previously registered and are pursuing / have completed the PG degree course or have obtained PG degree.

Candidates who are registered for PG diploma and have not passed the course at the time of Document Verification.


The Competent Authority shall issue Notification regarding online/ Computerized Scan-able process. The information Brochure containing procedures for admission to postgraduate courses will be made available on website of DMER An applicant seeking admission to the PGM-CET-2014 will be required to submit single prescribed online application form (Excepts In-service Candidates) (ANNEXURE “H” Specimen Copy of online application form).

In-service candidates must submit in person Computerized Scan-able Application form to the concerned Authorities (DHS, ESIS and BMC).

Cost of online application form of PGM CET 2014 and examination fee is Rs2500/- plus (+) Rs60/- Bank Charges. This amount is not refundable.

PGM-CET-2014 will be conducted at Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad and Nagpur centres. Candidate can choose the centre for examination as per his choice and indicate the same in online application form/ Scan-able Application form for In-Service Candidates. Such choice once exercised will be final and binding.

The information Brochure and online application Form will be available from 28th November 2013 to 12th December..,2013. Before filling Online Application form download information brochure of PGM CET 2014 and read the same carefully. The Applicants must possess the required criteria and education qualification as mentioned in the Information Brochure of PGM CET 2014

Candidate should preserve the (i) Bank Challan (ii) Copy of downloaded online form (iii) downloaded copy of Information Brochure for subsequent use.

Candidate’s completing internship before 31st March..2012 should submit an undertaking in the format given in Annexure – O. at the time of document verification.

How to Apply..?

The details of online form submission process on DEMR website are as mentioned below. (Not Applicable for In-Service Candidates)

Instructions page will be displayed. Carefully read the Instructions for filling online form. After reading Instructions, applicant has to click NEXT button to go to actual Online Application form (Annexure “H”)

Candidate should fill all the entries in application form and upload his/ her Scanned photograph and signature.

System will validate required fields before allowing him / her to submission.

During submission the application system will ask to Candidate for Password.

Eligible Candidate will be able to submit the form. There is provision to make changes in the Application Form before Click on Submit Button. Candidate should verify the Correctness of entries made in application form. There is no provision to make changes in the application form once Submit Button is clicked.

After submission of form Bank Challan will be displayed in two parts.

Unique Application No. (Username) along with details of nonrefundable required fee Rs2500/- plus Rs60/- Bank charges will be available on challan and same details will be mailed to the Candidate on his given E-mail ID.

Candidate should take printout of Bank Challan. With this Challan pay the required fee in any Branch of State Bank of India on Second Working Day on-words, from the day of Printing Challan and obtain your copy of Challan indicating Journal ID / Transation ID.

‘Log In’ Link will be available on DMER website to verify the Application Form.

Candidate should login with Application No. (User Name) and his / her unique Password to download the printout of Application Form.

Candidate has to preserve the downloaded printout of Application Form for subsequent use.

Applicants need not send copy of Application Form or any Document to this office.

Please note that if you commit any mistake in filling the online Application Form, it cannot be corrected by this office. The office will take no responsibility of any kind for such forms.

Admit Card

Admit Cards will be downloaded from web-site after login during 30th December..,2013 to 04th January..,2014. (Not Applicable to In-service Candidates)

Candidate has to go to Centre with downloaded Admit Card and any Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Driving licence, PAN Card, Pass port).

Issue of Admit Card is merely an enabling document for appearing at the PGM-CET and does not imply that the candidate satisfies all the requirements of eligibility conditions of admission.

For In-Service Candidates they Admit Cards will be issued from the respective Authorities / Establishments from 30 / 12 / 2013 to 04 / 01 / 2014. Admit Card:


All eligible candidates are required to take the PGM-CET at their own cost.

The PGM-CET-2014 will be conducted on Sunday, 05th January 2014,

Time: 10.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. No entry will be permitted to the candidate in the examination hall after 10.00 a.m. for any reason whatsoever.

The PGM-CET will be conducted at sub centers situated in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Aurangabad Centers.

The examination will be conducted in English Medium.

PGM-CET paper will be of 3 1/2 hours duration containing 300 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Each question will be of single best response objective type with four answer options. Each correct response shall be awarded one mark. There shall be NO NEGATIVE MARKING for wrong answers.
